I know what you’re thinking. Who wants to try and hack my website?

Well, we are here to tell you that no matter who you are, you are at risk. Hackers and automated bots roam the internet looking to create havoc and the truth is your website can never be 100% secure. So why not make it as secure as you can? Good security is all about minimizing the risk and with WordPress powering around 20% of the world’s websites it’s a smart idea to follow the best practices to keep your site as secure as you can.

Since many security issues have little to do with WordPress and more to do with bad security practices, server vulnerabilities, poor passwords, etc., don’t blame wordpress if you get hacked.

Since security is a huge topic, we will expand in future articles about the types of security your site needs and best security practices.  You can start by making sure you and your users have strong passwords!
